About

Hi, I’m Dr. Michaela Falkner

Dr. Michaela Falkner, ND(CA)/ NMD(ID, UT), values treating the whole person and addressing the cause of symptoms, not just masking them. Her areas of interest are hormone optimization, autoimmune disease, chronic complex illness, gastroenterology, and women’s medicine. Dr. Falkner values working with patients in a mutual goal towards restoring health and helping them to reach their fullest potential. To do this, she regularly employs individualized plans including nutritional therapy and supplementation, hormone replacement therapy, botanical medicine, and lifestyle modification.

Dr. Falkner first discovered naturopathic medicine while living in Hawaii. She was working in a natural soap store and learned the potent effect herbs can have on our skin. After some searching, she came across naturopathic medicine and decided to leave the beaches behind for her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona to attend Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. After earning her doctorate in naturopathic medicine, she also completed a first year residency, focusing in General Medicine. She is currently licensed to practice as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in California and as a Naturopathic Physician (NMD) in Idaho and Utah.

Dr. Falkner specializes in chronic complex illness and often under recognized conditions such as Lyme and other tick-borne infections, SIBO, chronic fatigue (ME/CFS), Long COVID, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. She believes keys in healing the more complex conditions lie in also supporting the GI, hormones, and immune systems.

Helping you reach the height of your health.
